The truth, my fellow fans, is that this trade is both of those things. I believe Robert Griffin III will be a phenomenal player. He is likely to be the face of their franchise for the next decade or so. I also believe that it will not matter. Just like the Double J and his Dallas Cowboys, Dan Synder and the Washington Redskins have a laughable draft history in the past decade. There is nothing to suggest that this is going to change in the time RGIII will play for them. Just like Dallas, the Redskins are still fighting an up-MOUNTAIN battle with their owner in place and are not likely to do much of anything until the two men secede power. (more…)
