This past week has been another long one for Dallas Cowboys fans. Terrell Owens was in tears on the sideline, Adam Jones got into fisticuffs with his own security guard while Roger Goodell just happened to be in Dallas, Wade Phillips flipped out at the media and Jerry Jones is trying to make sure we have enough corners for this week’s game in Arizona. Here’s some advice to make sure your fantasy football team doesn’t make your week even longer.

Outlook for the Cowboys’ Offensive players and D/ST: Sunday’s game is going to be a barn-burner. If you have any offensive players that will see significant touches for the Cowboys (Marion Barber, Felix Jones, Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Terrell Owens, Miles Austin), start ‘em. I think Sunday’s game will be back and forth and all the offensive players should have big days. There are too many questions surrounding the Dallas defense for me to suggest that you start them. No Terence Newman, Adam Jones is still questionable for his Tuesday night scuffle and they aren’t that good against the pass in the first place. Kurt Warner has been tearing it up in a pass-happy offense, and that doesn’t bode well for the Boys. There are better options out there, like the Jets defense against a Carson Palmer-less Bengals offense, owned in only 42.8% of ESPN fantasy leagues.

RB’s
Brandon Jacobs: Start ‘em
Big old Brandon Jacobs is going up against the Cleveland defense that let the Marion Barber, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice pile up 188 rushing yards on 30 carries. Brandon Jacobs should see all those carries and expect him to find the end zone.

Joseph Addai: Sit ‘em

Hurting offensive linemen and a tough Baltimore defense should equal tough sledding for Addai. Baltimore’s run defense ranks first in yards per game allowed (64.0), touchdowns allowed (0), first downs (7) and runs of 20-plus yards (0). Need I say more?

QB’s
Jason Campbell: Start ‘em
Start anybody against the Rams. Easy call.

JaMarcus Russell: Start ‘em
What? Really? You heard right. If you don’t have a bona-fide starter like Drew Brees or Tony Romo or you’re not feeling too comfortable in your starter, you might want to take a look at Russell. They Saints give up nearly 250 yards passing per game and I think the Raiders are ready to play ball after the whole Al Davis fiasco. I’m going out on a limb, but I think that JaMarcus might have a big game.

J.T. O’Sullivan: Sit ‘em
I’ve been looking for a sleeper quarterback this year and sofar, O’Sullivan has played ok this year, but against a blitz-happy Eagles D/ST, there are better options. Take a look at Jeff Garcia if you don’t like your QB options this week. Garcia is filling in for an injured Brian Griese this week, but with a decent performance, Garcia could steal the starting spot for the rest of the year. Garcia is owned in only 18% of ESPN fantasy football leagues.

WR’s
Randy Moss: Start ‘em
Moss and quarterback Matt Cassel are starting to develop some chemistry, which will bode well for owners who have Moss on their roster.

Chad Johnson: Sit ‘em
No Carson Palmer for the Bengals, no points for Chad Johnson owners. A solution is Steve Breaston of the Cardinals, who has seen more looks from Kurt Warner in Anquan Boldin’s absence. Breaston is owned in 42% of ESPN fantasy leagues.

D/ST
Washington: Start ‘em
Start anybody against the Rams.

49ers :Sit ‘em
Donovan McNabb revealed that he was ticked about his performances this year in his blog this week. The 49ers have been performing well so far this year, but expect that to end this week. No Westbrook should mean more pass attempts for McNabb and with Kevin Curtis possibly making his return, McNabb should light it up. Look to the Jets if you own the 49ers D/ST..
