It wasn’t long ago when the Redskins almost beat the Cowboys in a 7-6 game that was as boring to watch as the score indicates. A plus for the Cowboys is that the overrated Albert Haynesworth is scared of Andre Gurode and Haynesworth will not play tonight.

DeMarcus Ware will battle third-stringer Levi Jones most of the night.

The Cowboys need to attack the Redskins fast, and beat them while they are down. Players were accused of quitting last week for the Redskins. But I doubt they’ll play that way tonight.

The play that likely caused the fight was one in which Redskins QB Jason Campbell avoided a DeMarcus Ware sack to throw a 23-yard pass for a first down. The receiver was wide open.

When Newman came off the field, Campo immediately got in his face. At first glance it looked as if Campo was trying to fire up Newman. But it became apparent within a few seconds that this was no joke.

Still in the first quarter, neither team has scored.  Tony Romo could easily have two interceptions already. Marion Barber has fumbled for the first time this season.

Redskins running back Ladelle Betts is done for the day with a knee injury. Albert Haynesworth is not playing.
