Even if it were worth reporting in Dallas' main new source -- and it is absolutely not by the way -- why present it like that? It's not like Tony was playing in some meaningful football game and performed poorly. But, hey, they got us to click on the article. I guess that's all that matters.

]]> Earlier today, when I was perusing the Dallas Morning News (online edition of course), I came across this headline:

“Tony Romo struggles at QB in Sean Payton’s beach football game”

I’m sure most of Dallas has already seen this article, but it’s ridiculousness compelled me to comment on it anyway.

When I saw that headline, my first instinct was to ask who was blocking for him and if Roy Williams was playing wide receiver. And then I thought, “wait, why the hell is Tony playing beach football? Didn’t he see what Robert Edwards did to his knee playing beach football at the Pro Bowl?” So, naturally I clicked on the article. Now I wish I hadn’t wasted my time. (more…)
