Super Bowl XLVII, otherwise known as the 47th annual NFL championship game, is taking place this Sunday afternoon, February 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Jan 19, 2013; New Orleans, LA, USA; A general view outside of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome as preparations are made for Super Bowl XLVII between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers. Mandatory Credit: Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CST/6:30 p.m. EST on the CBS network. You can watch the entire Super Bowl for free over the Internet at CBSSports.com.

Tune in earlier to watch R&B singer/songwriter Alicia Keys perform what is being called a very unique version of the national anthem.

The Pepsi Super Bowl Half-time Show will feature six-time Grammy-Award winner Beyonce Knowles. The league is apparently shelling out around $600,000 to put on the half-time performance. Chump change when compared to the $50 million deal Beyonce just inked with it’s promoter, Pepsi.

CBS analyst Jim Nantz will call the game along with former Super Bowl MVP Phil Simms. Reporting from the sidelines will be former NFL players Steve Tasker and Solomon Wilcots.

The game will match up the Baltimore Ravens against the San Francisco 49ers for the NFL championship. The game is being nicknamed the “Harbaugh Bowl” because, for the first time in Super Bowl history, the head coaches on both teams are actually brothers. John Harbaugh is the head coach for the Ravens while his younger brother, Jim Harbaugh, is the head coach for the 49ers.

Airing directly after the game on CBS will be a special episode of Elementary
