Just like that, the Dallas Cowboys California based training camp is over, with the Cowboys arriving back in the DFW area Wednesday evening. However his <a href="http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2012/03/cowboys-lose-out-on-free-agent.html">five-year, $32.5 million contract</a> was too much for the Cowboys to give for a third receiver, so the front office let him sign with Jacksonville.</p>
<p>Now we&#8217;re back to where we were in the off-season leading to 2011: we&#8217;re wondering who will be our third wide receiver.</p>

<p>With the 53-man rosters starting to take final form, it has become official today that defensive end Marcus Dixon has been released by the Dallas Cowboys.</p>
<p>Dixon has been plagued with injuries throughout his career. Just last season he suffered from groin and abdominal injuries.</p>
<p>He signed with the Cowboys in 2008 and spent the past two seasons on the team&#8217;s practice squad before being cut.</p>
