]]> Not much more can be said about the 2012 Dallas Cowboy’s season that hasn’t already been said.  The last game against the Washington Redskins Sunday night, did not end well and here we are again, wondering what went wrong and why do we continue to accept 8-8, year in and year out.  As I say goodbye to this writing gig that I have so enjoyed the past thirteen months, I will leave you with five things to think on during the off-season.

]]> If you are like me, song lyrics pop into your head at random times.  Immediately after the Dallas Cowboys lost at home to the New Orleans Saints, a Beatles song came to mind – The Long and Winding Road.  That long and winding road to the 2012 playoffs.  It has left us, the fans, standing here a long, long time, sometimes in tears, always waiting at the door.  The Beatles didn’t write this song about the Cowboys, but it seemed appropriate as I sang it out loud.  The road dead ends on Sunday or it might just take a turn, depending on a few scenarios.   (more…)
