Michael Huff
Michael lives in the San Antonio area and has spent most of his career in sales to the electrical industry, most of that time in the D-FW area. He did take a couple of years off from that to become a rep selling products to motorcycle dealers. It was something he just had to try, being an avid Harley rider.
Michael has been a Cowboys fan since 1974 and doesn’t let anything get in the way of watching them play. He was able to attend many games in the early 80’s, taking customers to them on the company’s dime. Does it get any better than that? A favorite memory from that time was seeing Larry Cole make a great game changing tackle of John Riggins for a loss and seeing Staubach and company come from behind for the win against the despised Redskins. Not just that though, when he took the customer to a restaurant for dinner after the game, sitting in the bar area waiting for a table was Larry Cole, hair still wet from his post-game shower. Other Cowboys highlights were meeting Ernie Stautner and Randy White after a Dallas Texans arena football game and seeing Jimmy Johnson standing in line to buy a ticket for the Texans game, right after being named the Cowboys head coach by Jerry Jones. He saw Michael Irvin at one of the games as well.
He is disappointed the “Boys” won’t be spending part of camp in San Antonio this year, having made a point to see them every chance he got when they were there. huffm2003@yahoo.com
