Growing up in upstate New York, I was really only into baseball, until a routine school bus ride in January, 1978, when some of my buddies asked me who was going to win the Superbowl. "Who's playing?" I asked, which got a lot of laughs (I knew nothing about football at the time except for Joe Namath). After the mockery died down, they informed me it was the Denver Broncos vs the Dallas Cowboys in SuperBowl XII. I picked the Cowboys - so everyone else picked the Broncos. Dallas 'crushed' Denver 27 - 10 and my buddies thought they'd been duped by a football expert. I was almost 12 then and I've been a Dallas Cowboys fanatic ever since. Thirty four years later and now living in Southern California, I'm still a fan (and sometimes fanatic) enjoying the opportunity to blog about my 'Boys.
