Well, I just saw on Twitter that there are only 11 Sundays before football begins. Wow. 11. Before you know it, Dallas Cowboys football will be right at our doorstep.

But before you launch yourself into the nearest swimming pool for a dip, realize it’s never too early to get your game face on. In fact, this is the perfect time to prep yourself for the upcoming 2017 season.

Look, nobody is saying you shouldn’t enjoy the warm summer days. You should. Just because school is out it doesn’t mean we need to slack on our favorite team.

Having said that, here are 10 ways to prep for the new Cowboys season, which kicks off this September. Feel free to bookmark this page or print it; heck, bookmark the author above. {Insert a billion smiley faces here}

1. Practice Ezekiel Elliott‘s feed me

All right, this is important. Since entering the league in 2016, Elliott has become a national football icon. He’s a must-see feature on Sunday, and 2017 won’t be any different.

In 15 games, he scored 15 times on the ground and caught one in the air. Elliott doesn’t perform his “feed me” signature move just on touchdowns either.

After stretching the field for 1,631 rushing yards, No. 21 has a lot to celebrate when he’s on the field.

Now, I’ve seen many attempts to replicate Elliott. We may not be able to hurdle over professional linebackers like him, but we sure can perform his celebration better.

Your job, should you choose to accept, is to practice his move in the mirror. Everyday. Put your hips into it. Play with it until you get it right. You have to sell it, because anything less is failure. And if we’re being honest, a disgrace to Elliott.

Bottom line: Do it better.
