After having two injury ridden seasons in a row, Dallas Cowboys’ wide receiver Dez Bryant will be looking to return to dominance.

It has been a rough two year stretch for Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant. In 2015 he sustained a broken foot. In 2016 he had a small fracture in his leg.

As Bryant was finally getting healthy towards the end of the year he dominated the competition. From throwing touchdown passes to Jason Witten, or just being his old dominant self, Dez was back.

For the Cowboys sake they hope that carries over to this season. When healthy there is no denying that Bryant is one of the leagues best pass catchers. Since 2012 no player has caught more touchdowns than number 88.

With America’s Team hoping to reach the pinnacle this year, a healthy Dez will go a long way towards helping that.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott didn’t get in sync with Bryant until the latter half of the season. Once they were on the same page, the duo was dynamite.

As Prescott continues to develop in his young career, having a super star of Dez’ caliber will help him immensely.

From the appearance of off season workouts Bryant may be primed for the best year of his career. Never has he looked as good physically, or been as vocal as a leader on this team.

The departure of ex-quarterback Tony Romo left a leadership void on this team and it appears Bryant may fill it.

There is absolutely no question Bryant can return to being the best wide receiver in the league. In 2014 he led the NFL in touchdowns with 16. I would expect more of that this upcoming season.

Bryant has always been a better player while playing with a chip on his shoulder and he once again feels like he has something to prove.

If Dez and Dak pick up where they left off last season, get your popcorn ready!
