With the 133rd overall selection in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select…

Ryan Switzer, Wide Receiver, North Carolina

Here’s what you need to know about the young prospect and the newest Cowboy:

Height: 5’8”
Weight: 181 lbs.
Combine 40 Speed/Vertical: 4.51/32
2016 Numbers: 96 recs, 1,112 yards, 6 tds

Player Breakdown: Carbon copy of Cole Beasley in the slot. Excellent punt returner, some slated him as the top kick returner in this draft class. Former running back. Uses quickness than speed. Catches everything, finds a way to get open. Solid route runner and can make plays down the field. 100+ punt returners in college. Electric player. Playmaker mentality.

Cowboys Analysis: Switzer should become the Cowboys new special teams returner. That’s a warning shot fired across wide receiver Lucky Whitehead’s bow. Both Whitehead and Brice Butler are on one-year deals. Unlikely, both players make the final 53-roster with Switzer selection.
