Six of the Dallas Cowboys 21 free agents land on Pro Football Talk’s Free Agent Hot 100 list. Find out who made the list and who got snubbed.

The Dallas Cowboys have one of the largest free agency classes in recent memory. With a whopping 20 players possibly hitting the open market next month as unrestricted free agents, the Cowboys brass has some major decisions to make about who they keep…and who they let walk.

In anticipation of the start of NFL free agency, the good folks over at Pro Football Talk have released their Hot 100 Free Agent list. And a total of six Cowboys made the cut. Those names include…

25. Cowboys guard Ronald Leary
39. Cowboys safety Barry Church
41. Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne
76. Cowboys defensive end Jack Crawford
83. Cowboys safety J.J. Wilcox
93. Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr

From the above six, the gap between Claiborne and Carr is fairly wide. But the latter’s age , soon-to-be 31-years old, likely has a lot to do with that.

A couple surprising names included on the list are Crawford and Wilcox. Both play primarily back-up roles in Dallas and it’s nice to know they’ve gotten some national attention. Wilcox is coming off his best year as a pro following an offseason where many thought he was a candidate as a final roster cut.

Not making the list are the below Dallas players who are currently free agents:

QB Kellen Moore
QB Mark Sanchez
RB Lance Dunbar
RB Darren McFadden
WR Brice Butler
WR Terrance Williams
TE Gavin Escobar
G Jonathan Cooper
DT Richard Ash
DE Ryan Davis
DT Terrell McClain
LB Andrew Gachkar
LB Justin Durant
LB Rolando McClain

One surprising name that didn’t make the Top 100 List is wide receiver Terrance Williams. The former third round selection out of Baylor has made some big plays on a national stage. Despite the attention, other free agent receivers like the Minnesota Vikings Cordarrelle Patterson (80) and the Baltimore Ravens Kamar Aiken (100) made the list over him.
