Only two days remain until final judgement day for many NFL players.  Several are battling tooth and nail to secure steady employment with their current NFL teams.

Saturday, August 30th, each team is required to reduce their roster from 75 players to the final 53.  This final preseason game is the last chance to solidify the team’s faith.

Running back Ryan Williams is one of the nervous Dallas Cowboys players standing on the dividing line of the roster.  It’s odd for a player to be so uneasy after impressing all summer.

The dedicated newcomer has shown the passion, conviction, and production Cowboys fans desire from all their players.  The team’s only knock on Williams has been his lack of special teams contribution.

Realizing this, he began to beg coaches for special teams snaps.  Pleading to prove his worth, he finally received a small portion (punt protection) and performed well against Miami.

Now, Williams is said to be stuck between a rock and a hard place.  Word around the team’s flagship site is that Williams will soon become a numbers casualty.

After laying it all on the line and showing the electric player he was in college, Williams may end up running AGAINST the Cowboys this season.
