The Turk will be very busy this week at Valley Ranch and throughout the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys, as well as the rest of the league, will be making mandatory roster cuts this week. The first cut, to a 75-man roster, must take place by this Tuesday. Then the devastating cut down to a final 53-man roster must take place by Saturday.

Between these two trimming down periods, the Cowboys will face the Denver Broncos on Thursday in the final game of the preseason lovely known as the “Roster-Bubble Bowl”. It’s call that because most, if not all, of the starting players for each team will not participate. Therefore, it’s a game that featured players on the fringe of not making the final 53-man roster.
