Cowboys, Ravens Preseason Game Time and Channel Information

The Dallas Cowboys will kick-off their second game of the NFL preseason against the Baltimore Ravens this Saturday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game will air on the NFL Network, as well as several other affiliate stations (see below), starting at 6:00 p.m. CST, 7:00 p.m. EST, 4:00 p.m. PST.

For the Cowboys, starting quarterback Tony Romo will make his first official appearance in a game this offseason. The 34-year old veteran is coming off his second back procedure within a year, the latest surgery happen back in December. All eyes will be focus on Romo as he hasn’t taken a real NFL hit since then.

As for the Ravens, their starting running back, Ray Rice, has drawn plenty of negative attention this offseason after receiving a two-game suspension for assaulting his fiancee. The couple was arrested for assault this February at the Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Public outrage ensued after leaked surveillance video showed Rice dragging his unconscious girlfriend out of a casino elevator. This incident and resulting league suspension has drawn much criticism for it’s leniency.

Both the Cowboys and the Ravens are coming off disappointing 8-8 seasons. And both teams failed to make the post season. The Ravens have had a much steeper decline than the notoriously average Cowboys, winning the Super Bowl during the 2012 season.

Baltimore fans will have Gerry Sandusky, Stan White, Qadry Ismail as their affiliate announcers for the game. While Cowboys fans will recognize the announcing team of Bill Jones and former Dallas back-up quarterback Babe Laufenberg as theirs. As AT&T Stadium is an enclosed venue, weather will not play a factor in this game.
