The defense is also another major concern that has me doubting the chances for Cowboys. While so far in training camp the offense has been spectacular, the defense has many sounding the alarm. Last year they were the last-ranked defense and yet they could be worse this year. Injuries are already hitting the unit and even when they are healthy, they are getting their butts kicked in practice by the offense. Imagine when the defense faces real opponents this season. The defense will have to play way above their standards for the Cowboys to have a respectable shot at the playoffs. I just don’t see that happening this year.
