As the Dallas Cowboys opened up training camp for the 2014 NFL season, the clock started to tick on some members of the organization that desperately need to win. Here are four guys that need to start winning now so they not only can keep their job, but rewrite their legacies.

Jason Witten:

Witten is assured of a spot in the NFL hall-of-fame when his career is finally over.  Not only has he become the Cowboys’ all-time leading reception leader with 879 catches, but in 2012, he broke the single-season reception mark for a tight end with 110 catches. This guy is far from done, but the most glaring absence in his resume is a championship. On many occasions, Witten has stressed how bad he wants to win a Super Bowl and it would be a shame if one of the great tight ends of the game doesn’t get his ring. Unfortunately, if things don’t change quickly, that might be the one hole in Witten’s resume. The good thing for Cowboys fans is that Witten will use this as motivation and he won’t slow down. So for the time being, look for him to continue to work at a torrid pace and rack up the big time stats that has made him the perennial pro-bowler we are used too.
