DeVonte Holloman

Linebacker, Dallas Cowboys

With the unfortunate season-ending knee injury suffered by the Dallas Cowboys starting middle linebacker Sean Lee earlier this offseason, an opportunity has opened up for this young player to shine. The sixth round pick by the Cowboys in 2013, DeVonte Holloman was considered by many as the preseason MVP last year. And although he played sparingly during the regular season (just 9 games), Holloman’s last game was his best. In the final game of the year against the Philadelphia Eagles, Holloman racked up 11 tackles and two sacks in the loss. Now, on the edge of a new training camp, Holloman could easily become a star on this recently reshuffled linebacker corps.
