Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence

Second Round, Pick 2 (34th overall)
Contract: 4 yr(s) / $5,506,650
Signing Bonus: $2,324,836
Guaranteed:$4,335,743

Predicted 2014 Role: Lawrence has the unfortunate task of replacing a legend. Regardless of talk of the contrary, this DeMarcus was drafted to replace another DeMarcus. All-Pro defensive end DeMarcus Ware, that is. And that is a tall order for a rookie. But with injury concerns surrounding Pro Bowl veteran Anthony Spencer, the spotlight is now solely shining on Lawrence to step up in his rookie campaign. Although the Cowboys are going to be implementing a heavy rotation of substitutions along their defensive line, the new DeMarcus will undoubtedly be asked to do a more than what is normally expected from a rookie.
