Luke Kuechly – Carolina Panthers

Since being drafted by the Carolina Panthers in 2012, linebacker Luke Kuechly has quietly established himself as one of the best middle linebackers in football. Kuechly is alot like Sean Lee in terms of style and ability. He has the capability to diagnose plays quickly and make plays behind the line of scrimmage, evidenced by his 156 combined tackles in 2013. Also like Lee, Kuechly has superb coverage ability, recording six interceptions in just two seasons.

The Cowboys had the chance to draft Kuechly in 2012, but instead chose the player they coveted most in that draft, Morris Claiborne. Kuechly went three picks after Claiborne at #9 overall.

Kuechly is obviously a pivotal piece for the Carolina Panthers, and the chances of them trading him are slim to none. But given his incredible success and young age, he would likely be the most coveted trade possibility for the Cowboys if such a scenario was realistic.
