Manziel would demand a contract that owner/GM Jerry Jones couldn’t afford.  A player of his talent level and attitude, he would want to be in a position that he could play immediately.  It is not to say that he wouldn’t be selected if he slipped into the 16thposition.  The likelihood of that happening is pretty slim. Drafting a QB of the future in the 2ndor 3rdrounds is more likely and getting Jimmy Garoppolo from Eastern Illinois is the better selection for Dallas.

DeMarco Murray is a 1,500-yard back, but he will never get to that point due to continuous injuries.

On the defensive side, Dallas is going to have to go defensive heavy in the draft.  The Cowboys added Henry Melton from the Chicago Bears but they lost DeMarcus Ware to the Denver Broncos in free agency.  Dallas did sign Jeremy Mincey from the Houston Texans, but his numbers immediately proved, he is not a DeMarcus Ware.  They still have to fill the needs on the defensive line with more depth at the position.  They need another defensive tackle and end.  Unfortunately, just signing Anthony Spencer will not be enough for a defense that finished dead last in 2013.

Funny you would say the offense is ok and spend the whole draft for identified needs. Dallas will never improve itself if they draft focused on need and let a superior talent go unnoticed. Lee will always be hurt in his current position due to his size and aggression. Lee would be better served as the weak side LB. Without better DTs to take off the constant hits Lee receives he will get injuried. Dallas does need better OGs for the run game and better protection for the QB. If the quality of DL is not there at 16 and the option to trade down and get additional picks is not available, then there has to be an opportunity for a WR, MLB, FS, OG, OT, or a QB value pick.

    B.W. Webb sucks

Offense is not a finished product… We need a WR and a G in the early rounds… In the defense side of the ball, my boy is Anthony Barr from UCLA.. Amazing speed. (4.4 in 40s) could you imagine the mix of this gay with Marinelli?… if he is off the board, my dark horse is Louis Nix from Notre Dame.. (6-2, 331), another option is Kony Ealy from Mizz (6-4, 273), he can play 3 tech and DE, Willie McClay loves this young rushman…

Nix is not a good scheme fit and Ealy at 16 would be a big reach. They need to land Barr, Dix or Pryor. I would rather see Shazier than Nix or Ealy…They could then go DE in the 2nd round.

This draft is so deep every team in the NFL is going to fill some needs. At the end of the day parity will prevail.

improve the defensive line and the dbs will be better, easy, cowboys need more help in def line than dbs, the defense was the last in 2013, the offense was in 13 or less, so who you select in the next draft to help
