Manziel would demand a contract that owner/GM Jerry Jones couldn’t afford.  A player of his talent level and attitude, he would want to be in a position that he could play immediately.  It is not to say that he wouldn’t be selected if he slipped into the 16thposition.  The likelihood of that happening is pretty slim. Drafting a QB of the future in the 2ndor 3rdrounds is more likely and getting Jimmy Garoppolo from Eastern Illinois is the better selection for Dallas.

DeMarco Murray is a 1,500-yard back, but he will never get to that point due to continuous injuries.

On the defensive side, Dallas is going to have to go defensive heavy in the draft.  The Cowboys added Henry Melton from the Chicago Bears but they lost DeMarcus Ware to the Denver Broncos in free agency.  Dallas did sign Jeremy Mincey from the Houston Texans, but his numbers immediately proved, he is not a DeMarcus Ware.  They still have to fill the needs on the defensive line with more depth at the position.  They need another defensive tackle and end.  Unfortunately, just signing Anthony Spencer will not be enough for a defense that finished dead last in 2013.
