We are just over 48 hours away from the biggest day of the NFL offseason, the 2014 NFL Draft.  While teams are finalizing their draft boards and getting ready for the big day, I thought this would be a perfect time to unveil my final seven round mock draft.

While those within the organization are likely to disagree on certain players at specific slots, it’s no different for those of us within Cowboys Nation.  One thing we can all agree on is that this team is in need of an in flux of talented players.  With such a deep draft, the Dallas Cowboys MUST come away with two starters and two solid role players at minimum for this draft to be a success.  Let’s take a look at how the Cowboys can make such things come to fruition and possibly get this team over the 8-8 hump and playing in January.

In order to come up with this mock draft, I ran a draft simulator ten times, flip-flopping between two separate draft boards.  The picks represent the most common player available at the spot in the draft that I selected them at.  I used a mix of philosophies, making sure address positions of need while also trying to pick the best player available, especially if someone unexpectedly fell.  Here are those results.
