My Analysis: This is one of the smarter mocks I’ve seen so far. A lot of the players selected had a workout or interview with the Cowboys at some point this offseason. The Crichton, Akins and Howard Jones picks fall into that category. Lewan becomes our right tackle for ten years, bookend with Tyron Smith. Crichton and DaQuan Jones fill the needs of our defensive line. And Bucannon could become our starting safety. I’m big fans of Janis, Vereen and Crowell as well. Although the latter’s off-the-field issues will probably land him off of the Cowboys big board.
