Caraun Reid, Defensive Tackle – Princeton

Reid, Princeton’s first two-time All-American, will probably come off the board sometime between the fourth and fifth rounds. A strong performance at the Senior Bowl, where he faced superior competition to what he normally saw in college, really helped boost his stock and might have even elevated him into a second day pick. He’s a good pass-rusher, a very good athlete and would be a nice replacement for the departed Jason Hatcher. Also, while I don’t generally like making too much out of connections between current players and coaches and the schools that they attended, Jason Garrett might like the idea of adding a fellow Princeton graduate.

The Cowboys have not had a lot of success when drafting small school players of late. Especially in the middle rounds..

Dakota Dozier stands out to me as one of the best small school prospects that the Boys could target.

We have Six 7th rounders, maybe trade Two of those and move Up to the Sixth round for one of these players, we’d Still have Four 7th roundes to add a couple more of these players..
