Summarizing the Cowboys Free Agent Pickups So Far

With the second week of free agency compared to a slow crawl compared to week one, it is time to break it down and figure out if the Dallas Cowboys have truly done their best.  Of course, we can write all day long about whom were the best and worst signing but it doesn’t much until they hit the field starting September of 2014.  The Cowboy’s look to bounce back from yet another 8-8 season that saw quarterback Tony Romo go down with a  back injury and the defense played patchwork the entire season as it reached an all-time low futility by allowing the most games with over 400 yards passing.  The defense also reached a low by remaining 32nd in the league for a good part of the 2013 season. 

The Cowboys had to make some tough decisions, some that are rumored not be by Jerry Jones but his son, Stephen.  In a recent Landry Hat article by Kim Dunn, Dunn states that there could be a new growth as fans are seeing a glimpse of what the younger Jones can do.
