Landry Hat Staff Writer Mike Burke Selects…

Aaron Donald, DT – Pittsburgh

My pick hasn’t changed. It is still Aaron Donald and still for the reasons I posted last time. He is the Warren Sapp clone if there ever was one. They are virtually the same size and won virtually the exact same awards in college. I think he is the perfect missing piece to the puzzle.”

    I wish people would stop acting like Warren Sapp would slide to 16 in any NFL draft. He had red flags due to a questioned drug history and still was drafted at 12. Aaron Donald will either be WELL gone before we pick, or he will be a Cowboy who never plays a full season due to being undersized or ineffective due to his lack of size.

      Yeah he is gone isn’t he? If he is hopefully QB is there and get a 2nd.

      You have to remember though Sapp was more dominant in a a bigger programme.

      You think a guy from Pittsburgh deserves the same attention as a guy from a dominant program as U?

    So what do they do if Donald isn’t there? Trade down or take another DT (Jernigan or Hageman)? Sticking at 16 and taking a DT would be my choice.

    @Mike Burke
    That was then (Warren Sapp) this is now (R. Hagerman). Bigger tougher, and just as fast!
