Every since Nike took over as the NFL’s official apparel provider in early 2012, many football purest have been concerned that the brash corporation would alter some of the leagues most cherished treasures: their uniforms. Outside of the Seattle Seahawks redesign, Nike only made minor changes. And those were limited to mainly fabrics (Flywire) and it’s positioning to better fit padded players. But with the recent success of the aforementioned Seahawks, and the popularity of their new uniforms, is it possible more wide-scale changes could be made across the NFL? And, in turn, to the Dallas Cowboys uniforms?

With such a storied history, any changes to a franchise like the Cowboys must be approached with respect and one small step at a time. That first step appears to be the teams’ gloves. As seen above, these gloves are stylish, a bit flamboyant, and form the beloved star when fitted together.

WTF, a blue helmet? Where’s the blue star? These uniforms are disgusting. Looks like punk b/s.

  • SmartThinking

The only piece of equipment they’ve missed is the lace hankie.

  • Scott.

Horrible. Don’t like the changes on any uniforms, esp these. The good news about uniform changes is the organization has to agree and approve any changes.

  • Ed

Is the NFL designing for Wal-mart now? How generic.

  • Stephanie Butler Pignatore

This looks like a bunch of girls designed it and that’s coming from a girl. Leave our uniforms the way they are. The NFL is changing enough with just the game and ruining it. Stay away from the uniforms

  • Old Frog

Nike designers have been playing too many video games.

Keep that shit in college and specifically Oregon, Nike.

If there’s any change it should be to the double star unis from 94-95.

  • fgoodwin

I’m surprised they are not black. ANYTIME a team changes its uniform, it seems they automatically make them black, whether that is a team color or not.

Are YOU KIDDING ME!!!? WTF! Enough NIKE swoosh marks????

  • Jose Israel Olivares

they need to bring back the 94 jersey as the thanksgiving one!

  • Jose Israel Olivares

Also bring back the 2 stripes on the socks

  • Mance Fine

The green pants need to be made true silver and match the helmet (like 5 other teams do perfectly with no issue) and they need to make the numbers on the white jerseys and the royal blues in the home pants and socks navy blue instead of royal. This ugly design that a third grader made would never happen, but it would be nice if Jerry put on his “Fashion Jones” hat and made the tweaks to the pants and colors but still keep the classic look. Might give the boys a fresh look and feel. Right now their uniforms match how chaotic and inconsistent their play has been. Fix them Jerry!
