–DT Jason Hatcher- Losing Jason Hatcher would be a major blow to a position already thin but a $9 million cap hit if he is franchise tagged will not help the team either. He had a career year with 41 tackles with 11 sacks. Hatcher played very well this season including earning himself a Pro Bowl berth and being selected by Team Rice that included a 4th quarter sack of Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles. As much it would pain to have him leave, he deserves the big money that Dallas can’t provide because of Jerry Jones the GM. Do remember that Jones has to report to his boss, Jerry the owner so all decisions rely on him. Final word: Let him go unless he can agree to a contract that is cap-friendly.
