February 19 – Scouting Combine Begins

NFL Scouting Combine, five day event will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Cowboys Angle: The Cowboys will be looking to improve their defense in  this year’s draft as they ranked dead last in that category in 2013. Names like defensive tackles Louis Nix III and Aaron Donald, and safety HaHa Clinton Dix will be among those I’ll be watching during this week. There is also a chance to spot the next hidden gem in the draft. And the Cowboys sure could use some of those this go around. I currently see the Cowboys positional needs in this order of importance:  DT, DE, S, OG, OLB, WR, QB, RB. As defense is in four of my top five needs, I think we can all agree that’s the way Dallas should draft.

I feel about 95 percent confident that Cowboys will get that game against Seahawks. The NFL loves to give Dallas a road game to start the season. That stadium will break the world record for being the loudest again. Going to be brutal if Cowboys indeed are the lucky ones to have to deal with that game. Talking about a veteran safety, why in the heck did the Cowboys cut Will Allen last year? Yea he wasn’t anything great but would have been 100 times better then that sorry Heath dude who has no clue how to play football!
