Who’s Going To The Super Bowl?

By the end if the day we will know who will be representing the NFC and AFC in this year’s Super Bowl.  Who’s your pick to take the trip to Jersey?

My pick is Seattle vs Denver, with Denver to take the win.  Not only do I think the Bronco’s high power offense can out score any of the other 3 teams that remain, I want them to win.

I’m really indifferent about Seattle, never really followed them or cared how they ended their season.  As far as San Francisco, I guess I still harbor some animosity for the Cowboy’s rivalry from the days of old.   As for the Patriots, I just plain hate them.

I can’t respect a team or coach who knowingly and intentionally cheats.  It especially upsets me when said team receives nothing but a slap on the wrist fine and is constantly finding their way to the playoffs.

That cheating scandal should have cost them draft picks, as that’s the only thing that could really offset the success that years of spying on the other team’s sideline afforded them.

When you take a look at penalties levied against Dallas, Washington, especially New Orleans…it appears the league certainly has it’s favorites when it comes to doling out punishment.

I also never really cared one way or another about Denver, until the arrival of Peyton Manning.  Peyton is just that all American great guy, and easily one of the best role models in the league. Funny, humble, and incredibly talented, how could you not want this guy to win?  It also doesn’t hurt that I’d like to see him destroy Eli in Super Bowl rings….

I’m rooting for Seattle to win but I’d like to see them play NE in the Bowl, if for no other reason than I want JJ to see the benefits of having a coach with unfettered power to chose the team’s personnel. Belichick is the GM and Carroll is the presumptive GM since he hired theirs and probably gets everything he wants as a result.

I have Denver vs 49ers for the Super Bowl. Denver to win by 10 and San Fran by 1.
