Here’s my take:

“For me, the rookie of the year for the Dallas Cowboys is first round pick center Travis Frederick. Despite the Cowboys overreach for Frederick with their top pick, his presence on the offensive line solidified and improved one of the worst lines in the NFL. His addition and the improved play of tackle Doug Free upgraded Dallas’ line play and gave running back DeMarco Murray his first 1,000 rushing yard season. Frederick will be the Cowboys centerpiece on the line for the next ten years and well worth the top pick.“
