Here’s my take:

“Although the offense is more to blame, the offensive playcalling was stale at times. If I had to pick just one, it would be Callahan. But in truth, the 2013 Dallas Cowboys lost this game.“

Seriously, this loss can be pinned on to Jason Garrett and Jerry Jones. You got a 4th and 1, a running back that the Eagles couldn’t stop, and they run a pass play. That’s all on Garrett and his outdated Air Coryell philosophies.

Jerry Jones gets the blame for various reasons: loving the spotlight more than winning, hiring a red headed kiss ass to be a coach and sticking with him year after year with nothing to show for it but being average, and not hiring someone with real knowledge about football to be a GM.

I’m not happy about the loss whatsoever, but I’m at least glad to see Jerry Jones suffer like the fans have for the last 20 years.

No, Kyle orton could’ve checked out of that pass play and it’s Bill Callahan who calls the plays. Garret himself said he has no power to change plays. He just relays them to the qb.

      • fukgarrett

you cant seriously believe that bs..of course garrett has the power to change the call this is all just damage control setting up callahan as scapegoat

  • Jason Dixon

I feel like if Kyle Orton woudn’t hadn’t thrown two int’s we would have won this game and the playcalling has been a issuse all year to. Its like we run the ball in the first half and go pass heavy in the second half!

Like most others I’d like to blame Garrett or Callahan. The defense have the team a chance to win the game. Those key plays by Murray and witten are what cost is the game, those 10 points sealed it. I still think Garrett doesn’t belong as a head coach, bright individual but horrible game manager. I’ve never seen a head coach as nervous as Garrett in that game. Very indecisive, poor play calling, and once again horrible game managing. I honestly wish Jerry wasn’t so
Arrogant maybe we would actually be competitive, but just like all you die hard boy fans, each year is one year closer to a new regime with a competent owner.

I blame the defensive coaching staff. Just look at the numbers and stats. Look at all the games they got murdered in. Pathetic. Im still upset and down about last nights loss. I cant believe it but yet I can. This team is beyond mediocre and something needs to be done. Jerry Jones, leave. I couldn’t stand you since the days of Jimmy Johnson’s era and what you allowed to happen. You bring in Campo, Switzer, a bunch of chodes. Parcels could have been the next best thing to Johnson but NOPE! You need to stick your nose into everything! Jerry, you are so much into the media marketing its pathetic. Its a different story if the team was going places. When are you going to let a head coach or whomever, just do their job? GRRRRR!

Jeff, it is good to know there are some fans that point out the real problem with the Cowboys. Even some of the writers blame everybody but Jerry Jones. It makes you wonder if they actually know what is going on.

The second half we stopped running the ball and put everything on the quarterback throwing… leading to an interception …sound familiar…..bad coaching.

  • Juanito Juanito

Cowboys need kubiak for oc, he like run more and be balanced offense

  • disqus_kLJwdEdnOL

I blame Tony Romo and there are many Cowboy writers who would probably agree although he didn’t play.
