2. How important has rookie running back Eddie Lacy become to this offense?

DD: With Aaron Rodgers sidelined, you could argue Lacy has become the Packers’ most valuable player on offense this season. He’s closing in on a 1,000 yards this season and has rushed for seven touchdowns. He fights for those tough yards and can really wear down a defense. And Lacy has been getting production on the ground with teams loading up the box and not respecting the pass in Rodgers’ absence. Life will be much easier for him when Green Bay gets no. 12 back.
