The Dallas Cowboys will get their defensive leader back for Monday nights’ game against the Chicago Bears. Middle linebacker Sean Lee will make his return to the field after a hamstring injury sidelined him for the last two games. Fortunately for the Cowboys, they were able to pull off victories against the New York Giants and the Oakland Raiders without him.
Now, the Cowboys defense is almost at full strength minus cornerback Morris Claiborne, who has been struggling with a hamstring injury. Their special teams is another matter. Specialist, receiver and Dallas’ primary returner, Dwayne Harris, is questionable for Monday’s game with…yes, you guessed it…a hamstring injury. Someone really needs to have a talk with the Cowboys training staff.
On the other side of the ball, the Bears will once again be without starting quarterback Jay Cutler. Cutler will miss his fourth straight game with an ankle injury. And Chicago has struggled a bit without him, losing two of their last three games. Despite the losses, back-up quarterback Josh McCown has played well in his absence. Another key member of the Bears team who will be absent on Monday will be All-Pro linebacker Lance Briggs. Briggs has been sidelined ever since he separated his shoulder in Week Seven.
