Recognizing The Commenting Stars of The Landry Hat Community

Here at The Landry Hat, we are starting to build a trusted community of passionate fans and loyal readers who constantly interact with us through our comments section. These individuals have been respectful towards others while being unafraid to filter their own opinions about our favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.

These individuals are the backbone of our site and deserve to be honored for their loyalty and intelligence. And maybe even more importantly, for their ability to get their point across without attacking one another. They are helping us build a strong community where intelligent responses and spirited debate are respected while fostering an environment where all readers can feel safe about voicing their opinions without the fear of being belittled.

Therefore, I’d like to recognize the following commenting stars of the Landry Hat community:

SmartThinking

ctcowboy1968
Earl Robertson
David Kerr

Juanito Juanito
Jimmy D

These are the names we see week-after-week, faithfully reading our articles and respectfully commenting on them. The Landry Hat staff salutes you all! You have now been placed on the site’s official  Whitelist as preferred commenters. Whitelisting ensures that your comments are posted immediately. This honor is reserved for only the most trusted commenters and community regulars. Again, thank you for your loyalty and your honesty. We’ll keep cranking out articles as long as you keep reading them!

If you believe your name belongs on the above list, simply tell us why below in our comments section. We’ll review your past history on our site and let you know.

Groucho Marx said, “I’d never want to be in any club that would have somebody like me as a member.”

    Ditto.

Frankly, I comment on this site for two reasons: a) based on everything I’ve read from your people so far, I know more about the Dallas Cowboys football team than all your current writers combined and, b) I actually comment using correct punctuation and grammar, something your current staff should also take an increased interest in.

    • David Kerr

I for one think this is pretty cool. I read these articles everyday not because I necessarily agree with everything. But because I enjoy hearing opinions on my team, and giving my own.

      • SmartThinking

The words are, “every day,” not everyday.

Also, unless you’re channeling Vin Scully, you’re not “hearing” any opinions on this site, although you may be giving your own.

          Thanx 4 da gramer lessin.

  • IBleedBlue

A list of armchair QBs that judges the work of other armchair QBs. That makes sense.

Won’t someone please LIKE my status update?!? El oh el.

Or perhaps we could just talk football. Intelligently even. Sometimes.

    • SmartThinking

Sure. If it floats your boat, I’ll talk Cowboys football with you. What would you like to know on the subject?

  • Earl Robertson

Hey this is pretty cool!! I enjoy reading the TLH. They do a good job. I have found a few mistakes and mis- information but overall I look forward everyday to see what has been said.
