Cowboys Fans Have Plenty To Be Thankful For

Ugly is about the only way to describe the event which took place with the New York Giants this past weekend. Chaos seemed to be the game plan as almost everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

I guess as fans of the Dallas Cowboys and considering the state of the team after the Saints loss, any win is a good win. I don’t know how much we should be grateful for the resiliency of a struggling team or if we should be shaking the hand of each and every Giant for what looked to be one of the most undisciplined football teams in NFL history. A lot of boos could be heard throughout that game but I think those boos should be directed at your own team for showing the world what it truly means to lack composure.

In light of today being Thanksgiving, I think we should take a step back from all the negative talk and really just be grateful for the opportunity that still lay ahead.

Due to our perfect record in division play we hold sole possession of first place I’m our division. Many of our big name players are getting back to 100% and probably one of the most important things is that we are coming off of a win.

Adversity has it’s place in all things and considering the situation we were looking at only a week and a half ago I’d say we definitely have a plethora of things to be thankful for as Cowboys fans.

In honor of Thanksgiving, I say let’s just kick back throw down some turkey and enjoy our family with the great game of football. There’s nothing in the world to be more thankful for than the ability to say that we are the fans of the greatest franchise in all the world.

Happy Thanksgiving. Stay safe and go Cowboys.
