Secondly, the defense needs to bring it’s A game even without starters.  While it’s true DeMarcus Ware and Jason Hatcher will be back, the Cowboys are relying on second and third stringers to plug in holes where it’s important, the trenches.   Not only do the Cowboys have to worry about the wide receiving corps of the Giants, they also now have to worry about stopping the run as the Giants have a better running game than they did with David Wilson alone in week 1 .  Dallas goes into this game without Sean Lee, which seemed after he went down in the Saints game, to be the entire heart of the defense.  With players such as Ernie Sims, Bruce Carter and Kyle Wilbur starting on defense this could spell major trouble for the Cowboys in stopping the run.  Our secondary needs to have the best game of their careers in order to keep up with the wide receivers of the New York Giants. And lastly and most important, the defense needs to take tackling advice from punter Chris Jones and kicker Dan Bailey.  Tackling is going to be the utmost important aspect of this game.  Forget the go for the strip wrap up and tackle!
