10. Jason Babin, Defensive End – Jacksonville Jaguars

Sep 29, 2013; Jacksonville, FL, USA; Jacksonville Jaguars defensive line coach Todd Wash talks to defensive end Jason Babin (58) in the second quarter of their game against the Indianapolis Colts at EverBank Field. The Indianapolis Colts beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 37-3. Mandatory Credit: Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

Current Contract (via Rotoworld): 2013: $4.225 million, 2014-2015: $6 million, 2016: Free Agent
2013 Numbers:  18 total tackles, two sacks
Career Numbers:  327 total tackles, 57.5 sacks

Analysis: Although the 33-year old Babin doesn’t really fit the criteria the Cowboys are looking for, his name has been linked to Dallas for the last couple months. And he is just a year and a half removed from a career-high 18 sack season as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. He is currently underperforming for a winless team going absolutely no where.  It is assume Babin could be had for next to nothing. But his large salary, even pro-rated for half a season, would be a lot for the Cowboys to swallow.
