As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for their Sunday game against the Detroit Lions, naturally the media has been trying to compare both teams’ dynamic receivers, Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant and Lions receiver Calvin Johnson Jr.  The two players have similar traits and tendencies but also are worlds apart.

In Johnson, you have a player that has constantly been a force at the wide receiver position since he was drafted. In Bryant, you have a player that just recently found his niche and has made a name in the NFL. There is no question that both men are perhaps the most talented players in the league today. But, which is better is the question asked this week. So let’s do a fun game of comparing these two freaks of nature.

For the test, I listed six distinct attributes that I believe are important for any receiver to be good at if they want to become one of the best in the league.  Then I will write a brief comparison of the two on the specific category and will determine who wins. Then we will tally up the results at the end. Sounds like fun? Let’s play!
