PRO: Dallas Wins Back-to-Back Games

One of the more frustrating aspects to the Cowboys season so far has been their inability to be consistent. Winning then losing….then winning then losing…then winning then losing has taking it’s toll on this team. With a two game-winning streak to build on, and their first road victory under their collective belts, Dallas will go into Detroit in Week Eight with a lot more confidence. It doesn’t hurt that they are undefeated against divisional opponents and now sit alone at the top of the NFC East.

Vega: I like Vega’s energy. Penalties: I think the number of penalties committed were as much about the amount of fighting at the line of scrimmage as anything. I’ll be interested to hear the coaches talk about the penalties. When the film is reviewed, I’ll bet there was a lot more movement by the Eagle lines than the television showed. Claiborne: Something is wrong with Claiborne. Either he’s hurt or he’s lost his confidence. Either way, he’s becoming a liability. Romo: Romo plays up to the level of his competition. Next week against the Lions, we’ll see Romo and the offense break out for a big game if for no other reason than to show everyone how much better our tools are than theirs.

I wont go as far as to say the running game struggled. Cowboys just don’t use it effectively. They don’t seem to know when to mix in the run. Plus the last few series they were running Randle just to kill time and everyone was expecting it. There were times in that game with the lead they are running no back sets. Exposing Romo to unnecessary hits and interceptions. Commit to the run

I have thought for a long time Romo takes hits that draw flags on any other QB in the league except him. Last week it was excuse me hits on RGIII by Church that drew curious flags. It is ridiculous. Anyway fun game. Love beating the Eagles but I am concerned about the running game.
