Matt Thornton, Staff Writer: The Eagles possess a high powered offense scoring 166 points good for 4th in the league, while their defense struggles allowing 179 points, or 29th in the NFL.  Meanwhile the Cowboys posses the number two offense in the league scoring 183 points while ranking 21st in defense giving up 152 points.  Good offenses and less than average defenses should amount to a high-flying “last team with the ball wins” type of game.  The biggest unknown at this point is Eagles QB Nick Foles who’s 6 TD’s is impressive, but I don’t think he’s faced Cornerbacks the caliber of Dallas’ Carr and Claiborne.  Cowboys win and take over first place in the NFC East 34 to 24.
