Todd Toombs, Senior Writer: I think the Cowboys may be in trouble this game. First, it is in the unfriendly confines of Lincoln Financial Field which is always a tough environment. The Eagles also seem to have hit a bit of a stride winning their last two games. The Cowboys have yet to post back-to-back wins this season and haven’t won on the road yet either. It’s a long-standing division rivalry with no love lost – the Eagles would love nothing more than to beat the Cowboys and grab the outright lead in the NFC East.

But what worries me more than anything is the “quack attack” hurry-up offense against our depleted defensive line. Not only are we now down to backups for the backup players, but we are also extremely thin in the depth department. This group has done a remarkable job, but I’m concerned that their tongues will be hanging out and their hands will be on their knees by halftime. The Cowboys will have to outscore the Eagles – which they are capable of doing – particularly early in the game. But, I worry about the latter stages and our ability to keep the defense on the sideline and resting. With Murray out, I would not expect us to generate much of a ground game, so it will be a lot of passing and a high potential for quick, 3-and-out series that will put more pressure on the defense. As much as it pains me to write, I just don’t see the Cowboys winning this one in their current state. Eagles 27, Cowboys 24.
