Michael Vu, Staff Writer: Dead Cowboy? Or dead bird? Dallas is 30th in defense, giving up 413.2 yards per game. Eagles? Two spots down at 32 surrendering 420.2 yards per game. Offensively, the Eagles are sitting at 3rd with 449.8 yards per game. Only Denver and Green Bay sit above them. Dallas sits fair at number 13. With injuries on the defensive line for the Cowboys, and a struggling Morris Claiborne, the Cowboys must refine the definition of “team” once again. Dallas will do enough to inch forward that NFC East crown. Cowboys clip the wings. But for the Boys, analysts will continue to wonder if this team is a contender or pretender. Dallas wins 31-27.
