On Wednesday, word crept out that Philadelphia Eagles’ starting QB Michael Vick will remain sidelined for this Sunday’s showdown against the Dallas Cowboys.  Upon first thought, one would assume that’s a good thing for the injury-plagued Cowboys’ defense.

As Lee Corso would say, “Not so fast, My Friend”.  Overall, the dynamic Eagles’ offense is ranked 4th in ppg. (27.7), 3rd in total ypg. (449.8), 9th in passing ypg. (271.3), and 1st in rushing ypg., (178.5).

More specifically in regards to the passing offense, they are 8th in TD’s (11), 1st in INT’s (2), 23rd in completion % (58%), and 18th in sacks allowed (16).
