The Dallas Cowboys (2-3) will face off against the Washington Redskins (1-3) at AT&T Stadium on Sunday night. The matchup features Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III against a lackluster Dallas defense who got burned for 51 points by the Denver Broncos last weekend. On the other side of the ball, Dallas quarterback Tony Romo is coming off quite possibly the greatest game of his career, throwing for 506 yards and five touchdowns.
The Cowboys, Redskins game in Arlington will air on the NBC network on Sunday Night Football, October 13th at 7:30 p.m. CST. (8:30 p.m. EST, 5:30 p.m. PST) The announcers for the Dallas,Washington game will be Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth. Michele Tafoya will report from the sidelines.
Weather.com is forecasting a 50% chance for thunderstorms on Sunday with a high of 81 degrees and a low of 69 degrees. AT&T Stadium is enclosed, so the possible storms will not affect the game…unless the electricity goes out. Then again, they aren’t playing in the Superdome.
Dallas is expected to have wideout Miles Austin available for this game. Austin has missed the previous two games due to a hamstring injury. But the Cowboys will be without back-up running back Lance Dunbar and linebacker/special teams standout Edgar Jones. The Redskins appear to be at full strength after their Week Five bye.
