Mark Lane, Senior Writer: Robert Griffin III isn’t back to his old self. Thus, he’ll stand in the pocket more, which is advantageous given Dallas’ poor push up the middle. Garcon, Paulsen, and Morris continue to carve up the Cowboys defense. On offense, Haslett’s defense stiffens against the Cowboys’ run game, which has only ever averaged 3.6 YPC with Murray healthy. Cowboys offensive brain trust again easily abandons the run for Romo’s arm. With a healthy Austin, competent Williams, quick Beasley, reliable Witten, and dominant Dez, Romo efficiently puts enough points on the board for a 30-28 Cowboys victory.
