Todd Toombs, Senior Writer: Talk all you want about the Denver loss being a moral victory, but there is absolutely no excuse for losing this game against a struggling Redskin team that we owe a beat down.  RGIII  essentially embarrassed our defense in both games last season.  Our coordinators and some of the position coaches are different but this defense seems to get carved up more than a Thanksgiving turkey – same as it ever was, except this year we are relatively healthy other than the defensive line.  The key to beating Washington is simple – stop Albert Morris and contain a hobbled RGIII while avoiding the big plays downfield.

Romo and the boys should be able to score against the Redskin defense but if our D can’t execute and lets Washington hang around, this could end badly once again.  They need to jump out on top quickly and never give them a reason to believe they have a chance.  Sunday night games have not been that great to us – although we did beat the Giants to open the season on NBC.  Still, if this game is close at halftime, I will be officially worried.  Big opportunity for the Cowboys to solidify their hold on the division lead.  Cowboys 31, Redskins 17.
