-Playing at Home

Oct 6, 2013; Arlington, TX, USA; Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo (9) throws in the pocket as sun rays enter the stadium in the third quarter against the Denver Broncos at AT

The Dallas Cowboys fell short of The Denver Broncos Sunday at home, but the difference in their play at home compared to on the road is significant. Their offense has looked dominate in home games against the St. Louis Rams and this past week against the Broncos. The defense forced 6 turnovers Week 1 against the New York Giants and held the Rams to 7 points in their contest against them.

On the road, they have played terrible offensively and subpar defensively. Like every other team (besides those who played in London), Dallas will play 8 home games and 8 away. If Dallas can continue playing well at home, they could end with a 6-2 record at home (they are currently 2-1). Typically 10 wins gets you in the playoffs so getting 6 at home would be huge.

Speaking of huge, games do not get much bigger than a home game against a division rival on Sunday Night Football. Dallas needs to keep up the play at home this week to get back to a .500 record and stay undefeated in the division.
