NEEDS TO CONTINUE:

-Leading the Division

It was very hard to find one area in which the Dallas Cowboys performed well in against the San Diego Chargers throughout the game. That is way the one area that needs to continue is leading the division. At the end of the day, this is all that matters. Dallas has had opportunities to grab a strangle hold on the division, but losing close games against the AFC West has cost them. Despite the two losses, Dallas still has a one game lead over the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins for first in the NFC West because of the woeful start for the rest of the teams in the division.

The good news: Dallas will at least share the lead for the division even if they lose this weekend and the Eagles win (Washington has their bye week). The bad news: Dallas welcomes undefeated and the seemingly unbeatable Denver Broncos to town. Dallas will probably lose (not being pessimistic just realistic), but will still at least share the division lead.

So Dallas will have at least a share of the division win or lose, and have back to back games within the division following the game against Denver. The next three weeks will tell a lot about who will ultimately win the division.

    GO COWBOYS!!!!

I am officially a three hour Cowboys fan this weekend.

No one ever shares a division lead. If the boys lose and the eagles win(a likely outcome), they would lead because it would be their 2nd division win

It’s week 5… Analyzing anythin over W-L is a bit excessive. Dallas will only have played one division game so sayin Philly has more division wins is pointless

Than why is it so important to lead the division in week 5?

  • Damon Bailey Smith

Please read the title of that section. It’s called “needs to continue”. Leading in week 5 isn’t terribly important but the reason I put it in the article is because leading the division needs to continue
